The Jamaican-German Society, our sister society in Kingston, handed over our COVID-19 donation to the representatives of three children's homes in Stony Hill as part of a small ceremony.
EARLY CHRISTMAS GIFT: Lori Henry, President Jamaican German Society (JGS), (2nd left) presents an early Christmas gift of $75,000 to Selleann Barracks (right), Manager, Homestead Place of Safety to assist the children of the home in their COVID Care Programme. Donations totalling another $175,000 were also made to the SOS Children's Village and The Jamaica National Children's Home. The funds were provided by the German Jamaican Society, the sister society of the JGS, which prides itself on being Jamaica’s oldest friendship society. The funds were provided by the German Jamaican Society, located in Germany, which is the sister society of the JGS which prides itself on being Jamaica’s oldest friendship society.
